Last seen at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, MINI‘s patriotic concept is back with a tribute to the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Built on the same lightweight carbon fiber and plastic spaceframe, this second Rocketman Concept features a 3+1 seating arrangement and a wheelbase just as small as it was before. On the exterior, the MINI recieved a British-themed paint job with a Union Jack on the glass roof and red and white accents alongside the primarily blue paint. On the interior, the Olympic theme takes shape on the doors with tributes to past games, a storage area in the console with miniature basketball players inside, and a continuation of Team GB’s colors throughout the cabin. Just as with the first go-around, don’t expect to see this on the production line, but MINI still deserves their share of credit for a fun example of what they can accomplish. via: autoblog
