Land Rover is filling out the Range Rover model series with a new option: the Luxury Edition. It essentially takes the base model – already an extremely well-appointed SUV – and as the name suggests, works in a few more extra creature comforts. Features include a sun roof, heated steering wheel, contrast-stitched leather trim and a Harman/Kardon audio system, one primary thing that sets this vehicle apart, for Range Rover fans, is the updated metalwork: the Luxury sports a blacked-out grill, and the body is free of the extraneous design features that some feel are simply complications to the Range Rover design. The vehicle is available in white, black or bronze, with 20-inch wheels; power comes from a capable 245-horsepower, 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 – but the vehicle is a Europe-only release.
