Perhaps because its relatively new in the world of luxury labels, the fashion house founded by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni embodied the same adventurous ethos as it did some 50 years ago. A clear archetype of this would be its collaborative effort with CONVERSE, now in its third iteration. A rendition much like the season itself, the new Women’s Chuck Taylor All Star for Spring 2011 is a blend of zig-zag patterns in purple, black, and aquamarine. And because of the dye method, each shoe is unique in its form. Finishing each are leather patches embossed with the CONVERSE All-Star logo, MISSONI logo tongue tag, also in leather, and logo tab. The new MISSONI for CONVERSE Women’s Chuck Taylor All Star is now available at select retailer with CONVERSE First String account, such as UK’s End Clothing.
